• Additional modes/QoL: asymmetric Predator-style playlists and classic-mode improvements (reload feel, sound/graphics tweaks).
When does the season content start?
Cycle/season turnover and A15 Royale Pass kick off mid-September (regionally September 11), with Halloween-themed rewards in rotation. Check in-game timers for your server.
What still matters from Steampunk Frontier (v3.8)
Steampunk Frontier was a major sandbox refresh that layered trains, sky-rail mobility, and clockwork vendors onto classic battlegrounds (e.g., Erangel/Livik/Rondo). Core mechanics persist in themed queues and reruns:
• Trains (Epoch Cargo Train + Express): mobile loot routes; summon Epoch at Aetherholm, chase high-value crates; express stops at Cargo Hubs.
• Steam Coins economy: earn from trains/crates, trade with Clockwork Attendants/Merchants for buffs and supplies.
• AoT crossover: ODM-style grapples, Steam Glider entries, Titan/Attack Titan Serums, and destructible set-pieces like Utgard Castle.
Practical early-progress route
Off-plane drop near a rail line → board first train for safe loot density → jump at Cargo Hub to trade Steam Coins → ride sky rails to the next event objective → rotate to zone. This stacks mission counters (trains/coins) with minimal downtime.
Quick gear & systems notes
New Weapons
You get to try out the Mortar, the newest weapon in PUBG Mobile 4.0. This heavy weapon lets you attack enemies from far away, even if they hide behind cover. The Mortar can hit targets up to 200 meters away. You can use it to break up enemy squads or force campers to move. It changes how you play, especially if you like to control big open spaces or defend a spot with your team.
The update also brings the pickaxe as a new melee weapon. The pickaxe deals 60 damage and helps you destroy certain non-metallic surfaces. Now you can make your own cover or open up new paths during a fight. These changes give you more ways to win, whether you like to rush or play it safe.
Tip: Practice with the Mortar in training mode. You will learn how to aim and time your shots for the best results.
New Vehicle
The Magic Broom is the new vehicle everyone is talking about. You and a friend can fly across the map at 80 km/h, or boost up to 120 km/h. Every 7 seconds, you can use the Sweep Attack to knock back enemies. But watch out—if you boost too hard, your passenger might fall off! Good teamwork makes the Magic Broom a real game-changer. Use it to escape danger, chase down enemies, or surprise squads from above.
Balancing Changes
You will notice some big changes in how fights play out. Destructible terrain lets you create cover or break through walls. The pickaxe helps with this, so you can change the battlefield on the fly. Gunplay feels smoother, with tweaks to weapons like the SCAR-L, AKM, Panzerfaust, and Mk12. These changes make fights more fair and fun.
Royale Pass & events
Seasonal RP tracks gate most premium cosmetics; time-gated event tabs handle themed items. Expect Halloween-leaning skins and a few mythic/legendary standouts across A15. Check event pages after updating for mission chains and currency exchanges.
If you’re prepping for RP tiers or event shops, a small stash before reset helps: PUBG Mobile UC top up.
